Speedgates

This type of vehicle control usually operates on sites where fast open and close times are required and where pedestrians are prohibited from entering.

Pedestrians would normally be required to enter and exit through a dedicated gate to the side.

Examples of typical applications would be at cash transit sites, city centre private parking, warehouses and factories and other sites where security is paramount. In certain towns and cities, speed gates have been used instead of barriers for public multi storey car parks in order to prevent unauthorised pedestrian access.
